This really hit me a lot harder than I was expecting. It feels almost normal to have people like Morricone & Williams around, that is why it’s even thougher when they leave us. Morricone was a true legend who for a long time in his life didn’t get the full recognition he was supposed to get. I will miss this beautiful man and I feel myself lucky that we all have his music to listen to, even though he is not among us anymore
Similar story here – his death hit me a lot harder than I expected, maybe especially as it came so soon after he was touring the world doing concerts and making positive statements about his health. RIP.
What a terrible start to the week, as if 2020 wasn’t proving a horrible year anyway. it is true that you fool yourself that these people will be around forever- I’m 54 now and Morricones music has always been there.
The world is an emptier place now. We won’t see his like again.

How sad to lose this amazing composer, no wonder he was called The Maestro. So many wonderful melodies to cherish and play over and over and what a career. Let’s hope there is a documentary made so we can learn more about him.
